Robert has been contracted to provide workforce development support for Workwise on a six-month parental leave cover secondment while continuing in his role as IPS implementation manager for Work Counts.
He brings extensive experience in Individual Placement and Support (IPS), having joined the Workwise whānau in 2012 as an employment consultant and progressing into a team leader position, where he provided leadership across Auckland until early 2024. During his time at Workwise, Robert contributed to various projects including the development of regional in-services and employer outreach strategies.
In his current role as IPS implementation manager for Work Counts, Robert works alongside providers, funders, and sector partners across Aotearoa to support the growth, quality, and sustainability of IPS services. His focus on implementation, workforce capability, and sector collaboration has contributed to the ongoing development of IPS nationally.
During his time providing cover for workforce development, Robert will support initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, share best practice, and foster connections across the employment and mental health sectors. He is passionate about creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement that ultimately benefit both practitioners and the people they support.
